Article Submission Rules
To be considered suitable for publication on our site your article MUST meet the following guidelines. These publishing guidelines are designed to help you understand what we will and will not accept for inclusion in the Article Write database. Please make sure you have read this page thoroughly before submitting any articles.
1. MUST BE AN ORIGINAL ARTICLE THAT YOU HAVE WRITTEN
If you work for an author as an employee or contractor and are submitting the article, please submit the article as if it was from the original author including his or her email address and name.
2. MUST NOT BE AN ARTICLE YOU RIPPED-OFF OR SCRAPPED FROM THE PUBLIC DOMAIN OR PURCHASED (PLR – PRIVATE LABEL RIGHTS). If you did hire a ghost writer to write your articles, you MUST have an EXCLUSIVE LICENSE that *only* allows your name to be associated with the articles produced for you.
3. YOUR ARTICLE MUST BE informative and share your unique expertise. Include tips, strategies, techniques, case-studies, analysis, opinions and commentary in your article. We do not accept articles that contain more than 5 lines of quoted or sourced material. You may also only include 2 links in the main text which may not point to your own web site, but rather act as links to other material referenced. You may include your own web site link in the about text at the end of the article.
4. YOUR ARTICLE MUST NOT be a press release, advertisement, sales letter, promotional copy, or blatant and excessive self-promotion or hype.
5. YOUR ARTICLE MUST BE IN ENGLISH and have proper English, spelling, grammar, punctuation, capitalization and sentence structure. We understand that there are variations in what is considered “proper English,” we ask that you at least be consistent within your article (We prefer the use of international English as opposed to US where possible). Your article must also be proofed and double checked for accuracy. If English is your second language, we strongly suggest that you have it proofed by someone who has English as their native tongue before submitting your article to us. DO NOT use translation tools as they will not always translate correctly and can often make articles look like they have been spun which means they WILL be rejected.
6. YOUR ARTICLE MUST NOT contain:
- Pornography/adult material.
- Gambling.
- Hate or violence.
- Racial or religious intolerance.
- Profanity.
- Hacking/cracking content.
- Bomb creation.
- Support for terrorism/ radicalism/ religious fanaticism.
- Illicit drugs or drug paraphernalia.
- Steroid use or advocacy.
- The promotion of hard alcohol/tobacco-related products or prescription drugs.
- The promotion of article spinning software, affiliate marketing products.
- Links to sites which have no relavency to the article.
- The advocacy of any illegal activity including but not limited to the sale or purchase of exam/term papers, e-mail safe lists, e-mail spamming, click fraud, auto surf programs, black hat SEO.
7. YOU MUST NOT submit the same article with minor word changes (spinning – yes we can tell if an article has been spun. Don’t do it.), trying to make it appear a new article. If you engage in this practice you will be banned and all of your articles will be removed.
8. YOU MUST NOT submit your article with all the text in bold, neither should you copy and paste an article as coding tags may not work. Many times coding tags are included when an article is copied from another site, we do not accept plagurist material. We will delete your article rather than waste our time changing it.
9. WE ADVISE that the first letter in each word of the article title is capitalised, DO NOT capitalise entire words.
These guidelines shall be binding on the submission of any article to this directory. We reserve the right to implement new guidelines as we see fit (to improve article submission quality or to comply with any legislation), to remove or disallow any article for any reason without requiring that we explain said reason.
No article may be duplicated or copied from this site without the express permission in writing of Article Write. You may copy and use the source code provided by the link at the end of any article so long as all credits are left in place and the code is used as is without modification. All articles remain the property of the original publisher. In submitting an article to Article Write you give us permission to reword, rewrite, publish and use your article. You also give us permission to locate your article in whichever category we deem suitable if we choose to publish it.
